A dedicated crowd attended the Cluster Reflection Meeting on May 12/18 in Toppenish. Reflection again consisted of simply sharing what had been done in the last cycle and the individual learnings therefrom.
The ATC discussed how our community currently enjoys the format of the cluster reflection meetings and the approach of several gatherings/consultations leading up to the CRG seems to work well.
The Celebrate & Focus on 5/5 had LSAs consult & make plans, then a tutor reflection gathering on 5/9 furthered those plans.
By the time we attended our CRG on 5/12, many were savvy to what we were doing and had made personal plans to support or were active in the planning process along the way. Ownership of the plans felt more shared.
A survey was given at the end of the CRG which included a quote about the purpose of CRG from the UHJ. A series of questions asked individuals about how we can better plan, implement and include the necessary elements into the Cluster Reflection Meetings. The ATC reviewed the results and lively consultation ensued.
We will continue discussing best ways to share our narratives with one another. Wouldn’t it be wonderful, for example, if the cluster could see pictures of the goings on of our core activities instead of simply seeing the number of them that we have? Ryan simply needs a photograph and short description to include activities/news/tidbits in our cluster blog which is part of the website. We took a selfie at our meeting to honor this portion of consultation.
